The Department of Veterinary Parasitology, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai-600 007 is announced an interview for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DBT Funded Project of “Identification of virulence factors associated with Theileria annulata infection in Indian cattle” on 08th September 2016 at 10.00 AM.

Salary : Rs. 25000/‐ + HRA as applicable for the first two years
Rs. 28000/‐ + HRA as applicable for the third year

Essential Qualification : M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Parasitology / Animal Biotechnology / Animal Biochemistry / Animal Genetics and Breeding or M.Tech in Biotechnology or M.Sc in Biotechnology /
Biochemistry with NET
Desirable : Experience in Cell Culture, Molecular Biology Techniques and Application of Bioinformatics Tools
Tenure: Three years / Coterminous with the project whichever is earlier
Eligible and interested candidates are requested to fill up the registration form in the prescribed format should be brought along with relevant original certificates and photo identity to the Department of Veterinary Parasitology, Madras Veterinary College, Vepery, Chennai – 600 007 on 08.09.2016 at 10.00 A.M.
Note :
Date of Interview is 08th September 2016 at 10.00 AMCandidates with OGPA of 3.50 / 4.00 or 8.00 / 10.00 or First Class or equivalent grade / marks are preferred.
A one hour objective type of written test followed by interview would be held on the same day.
Selection will be made as per the norms of ASRR, TANUVAS
The applicants already working should bring the No Objection Certificate from their current
employer on the day of walk-in interview.
No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
