SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP:
This one day workshop will introduce LaTeX for Win-dows. No prior knowledge of LaTeX will be assumed.
LaTeX is an extremely powerful mark-up language for creating structured documents. It is particularly well-suited for documents containing mathematics, but can be used for any document. Those whose publications involve a large number of mathematical equations often use LaTeX rather than word processing package. It is the standard writing tool for most research in the mathematical sciences. LaTeX provides a facility for pdf output also. Remarkably, LaTeX is freeware
WHO SHOULD ATTEND :
The Faculty members, Research scholars and PG students from Engineering Colleges who have interest in publishing technical papers, thesis writing and presentation in LaTex format.
REGISTRATION:
Registration for the workshop can be done using the attached form or photo copy of the form. The completed form could be sent by post to the Coordinator. The Registration is restricted to first 40 participants only.
