The Department of Mechanical Engineering ,University College of Engineering,Villupuram has organized the FDTP "ME6007-Composite Materials and Mechanics " on 24th May 2017 to 30th May 2017 .
Aim : .
To understand the fundamentals of composite material strength and its mechanical behavior.Understanding the analysis of fiber reinforced Laminate design for different combinations of plies with different orientations of the fiber.
Thermo-mechanical behavior and study of residual stresses in Laminates during processing.
Implementation of Classical Laminate Theory (CLT) to study and analysis for residual stresses in an isotropic layered structure such as electronic chips.
Who can attend ?
Faculty members who are working in the Department of Mechanical Engineering from Constituent Colleges / Affiliated Colleges of Anna University can attend this program .Registration Details :
