Electric Power Systems - STTP - Anna University Regional Campus - Tirunelveli
The Anna University Regional Campus - Tirunelveli announced the Two-week ISTE Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on “Electric Power Systems” in July 2017. This STTP is conducted under the National Mission on Education through CT, MHRD, Govt. of India. The STTP is conducted through the DISTANCE EDUCATION mode & it will be transmitted live through internet (A-View software) to various coordinating remote centers across the country .

Who can attend?
1. The participate should be a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering /Electrical and Electronics Engineering with basic understanding of Electric Circuits, Signals and Systems, Electric Machines, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Energy Science and High Voltage Engineering related Departments and Centres.2. B.E. / B. Tech, or equivalent degree holders / M.E / M.Tech. degree holders / Ph.D. degree holders in the above mentioned disciplines with minimum teaching experience* and moderate teaching experience in the area of Power and Energy Systems
3. *Minimum teaching experience for B.E. / B. Tech, or equivalent degree holders is two years and one year for M.E / M.Tech. degree holders/ Ph.D. degree holders .
4. This workshop is only for Faculty.
Course Fee Details :
Since the workshop is partly funded by the National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Government of India), there is no course fee for participation.Free lunch and tea & snacks will be provided to the participants.
TA also admissible to the participants under certain criteria.
