The Department of Production Technology, Anna University, Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai has announced the Two Days Workshop " Prevention of Failures during Manufacturing and Production (PFMAP -2017)" on 3rd & 4th February, 2017.
Aim :
To serve as a National Society to promote, encourage and develop the growth of “Art and Science of Failure Analysis” and to stimulate interest in compilation of a database, for effective identification of root causes of failures and their prevention.To disseminate information concerning developments in related fields.
To organise lectures, discussions, conferences, seminars, colloquia, courses related to failure analysis and to provide a valuable feedback on failure analysis covering design, materials, manufacturing deficiencies/limitations and maintenance.
